Flexible family house design

A real family home where everyone has their own private space, but public room enough to all come together as a cohesive family unit to enjoy each others company.

The master suite on the ground floor in its own wing gives privacy but only a step away from the heart of the house. The family rooms on the first floor have their own bathroom and are large enough of computer desks or study centres.

The public area of the house has full height to the roof with the upstairs bedrooms off an open landing giving visibility to the room below.

Additionally the attic room is far enough way from the rest of the house for those noisy activities that all children, and some adults, like to indulge in. The attic is over 15m² at full height area (1.8m), but extends over a larger area where full height is not required.

For construction options we have shown only one finish for this house but other options are available both in terms of outside finish and construction methods.
